Who is Yogiraj Bikram?
Bikram Choudhury founded the Yoga College of India in Beverly Hills in 1974. He is one of the pre-eminent Hatha Yoga Masters living today. His yoga began at the age of four with physical fitness Guru Bishnu Charan Ghosh, younger brother of Paramahansa Yogananda, founder of The Self-Realization Fellowship and author of “Autobiography of a Yogi”. Bikram practiced Yoga at least four to six hours every day at Ghosh's College of Physical Education in Calcutta. At the age of thirteen, he won the National India Yoga Championship. He was undefeated for the following three years and retired as the undisputed All-India National Yoga Champion.

Bikram is fulfilling his Guru’s request to spread yoga around the world. There are 500+ Bikram Yoga affiliated schools worldwide.
